Visit to Rijksmuseum was memorable. It is one of the largest museum with lots of art objects. The museum at the beautiful city of Amsterdam makes it more attractive. We get a brief history of Dutch nation. Because of the renovation work going on , only one part of the museum is now opened. The paintings of Vermeer, Goya, Rubens and van Ruisdael attracted me a lot. I am planning a second visit to Amsterdam in 2013 after the renovation work of the museum.

It happened to be in July last year when I got a chance to visit this Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. I was impressed with its paintings. Being an Asian myself, I never anticipated it having Asian & Egyptian art and craft. Really it was an impressive stuff. No doubt, it is called National Museum of Amsterdam. It has got everything about the heritage in it. Nice building adds on to the stuff. And do not miss the great artists like Fra Angelico, Rembrandt & Meer.
