The Prado Museum is one of the finest art museums in the world, no doubt thanks to its impressive and extensive collection (over 10,000 pieces) of painting and sculpture from the twelfth century to the end of the nineteenth century.
His valuable collection has superb works of El Greco, Goya, Velazquez, Rubens or Rembrandt. Much of his collection came from the private collection of the Spanish royal family from the sixteenth century.
Together with the Thyssen-Bornemisza and the Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Prado Museum forms part of the so-called Paseo del Arte. All of them very closed. In other level, there is a new incorporation in only a few minutes walking Caixa Forum.

Estimados lectores. tuve oportunidad de visitar este grandioso museo y debo decir que su magestuosidad y alcance requiere de a lo menos 3 dias para poder apreciar y ver en toda su intensidad, las obras expuestas. Es realmente extraordinario y vale la pena gastar este tiempo para extasiarse con tanto arte.

Estimados Señores: Doctorante en la universidad de Fribourg en Suiza, me refiero a Ustedes porque he visto que tiene un cuadro representando a San Onofre, pintado por uno de los Hernandos, Yañez, de principios del siglo XVI. Me gustaría saber si existe una bibliografia a propósito del cuadro y / o de su adquisición. En efecto, encontré la imagen en la red y me gustaría saber si al pie del santo está ubicada una calavera y lo que hay detrás, supongo una piedra o un libro abierto. Será para mi uso de investigación y no para una publicación.
