The uniqueness of this institution is primarily the fact that it unites the so-called family of museums – Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, Page Museum at the La Brea Tar Pits, and William S. Hart Park and Museum.
Each of the museums listed above cannot be described in one paragraph, but all of them are united under the motto, ‘Meet your planet!’. There, a curious visitor can explore almost all aspects of life on the Earth – anthropology, entomology, mammalogy, paleontology, etc. Exciting and inspiring educational programs are held on a regular basis.

This is a huge museum in in LA. It seems like the most extensive collection is the animals. Personally I find the dioramas very disturbing, but I love to see the T-rex.
